Welcome to Orlando Endodontic Specialists

Our practice is limited to non-surgical root canal therapy, surgical root canal treatment (apicoectomy), and retreatment. More than 12 million teeth receive endodontic treatment each year and our practice has performed over 300,000 endodontic procedures.  Dr. Temple has personally performed over 100,000 endodontic procedures.

    Our office utilizes state-of-the-art technology, such as surgical operating microscopes, digital radiography, lasers and The Wand anesthetic delivery system to reduce discomfort and allow us to complete treatment typically in one 30 to 60-minute visit. Our caring staff strive to see emergencies the same day and speak several foreign languages. We accept many dental insurance plans.

      What to Expect as an Endodontic Patient

      Dr. Temple and his staff are accomplished in treating the most difficult endodontic cases. We often have great success in treating patients who are experiencing pain or want to save their natural tooth, which might otherwise need extraction.

      Our caring staff is accomplished in treating the most difficult endodontic cases. We often have great success in treating patients who are experiencing pain or want to save their natural tooth, which might otherwise need extraction. A comprehensive examination to diagnose oro-facial pain and pulpal injury and determine if the tooth is a good candidate for endodontic therapy.

      Non-surgical treatment to eliminate the diseased pulp. This injured pulp is removed and the root canal system is thoroughly cleaned and sealed. Under certain circumstances, microsurgery may be indicated to correct an endodontic problem.

      About Dr. Temple

      About Timothy J. Temple, D.M.D.

      Dr. Timothy Temple received his B.S. degree in Biology from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, and received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1990. He served as a general dentist in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps from 1990-1993 and practiced general dentistry in Pittsburgh from 1993-1995.

      He then went on to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston for his endodontic specialty training from 1995-1997 and has practiced endodontics with Orlando Endodontic Specialists for the past 20+ years. Dr. Temple is a leader in the use of lasers in endodontics and lectures internationally on numerous topics in the endodontic field.

      Information About Insurance & Fees

      We are contracted and/or In-Network with the following dental insurance companies. We accept most other insurance providers, but will be considered Out-of-Network for those plans. As a courtesy to you, we can file your claim with the insurance company.

      For both our non-insurance and insurance patients, we offer payment options.

      Your out-of-pocket fee will depend on the specific treatment that is needed and whether you do or do not have insurance. Please contact our office for more information.

      At our practice, we make every effort to provide you with the finest endodontic care. We verify your insurance prior to your appointment in order to provide you with the ESTIMATED portion due for treatment. Please bring your current dental insurance card for our records.
